The remaining members of The Doors have come together for a special performance celebrating 50 years since the release of their self-titled debut album.
John Densmore and Robby Krieger were joined by hundreds of fans in a low key event at the Venice Beach neighbourhood of Los Angeles where the band was formed.
The group, known for hits such as Light My Fire and Riders On The Storm, performed LA Woman for the crowd.
"Well, it's 50 years of The Doors. We started right here in Venice and we're ending up right here in Venice too so it's all a cycle, you know?" said guitarist Robby Krieger.
