PENSACOLA, Florida -- A unique location in rock and roll history is still on the market, according to a report in the Pensacola News Journal.
The house in Pensacola where The Doors frontman Jim Morrison's parents lived when he was conceived failed to light the fire of many bidders at an auction last weekend.
Jim's cousin, Bruce Morrison III, Morrison said he received eight bids on the property during an auction Saturday, but none of them broke on through his undisclosed minimum asking price.
While thousands trek to Morrison's grave site in Paris each year, the place his life began has attracted significantly less attention.
